Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD)
Provided executive leadership for Facilities, Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, Safety & Security, Environmental Services, and Support Services across a comprehensive pediatric healthcare system encompassing 60+ locations and more than 2 million square feet.
Leadership responsibilities included capital planning, infrastructure modernization, facility operations, regulatory compliance, real estate strategy, construction management, emergency preparedness, and operational excellence. Focused on strengthening accountability, improving facility performance, and aligning the physical environment with CHKD’s clinical, operational, and strategic priorities.
MedStar Health
Provided executive leadership for real estate, facilities, construction, and capital development across one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s largest healthcare systems. Oversaw a portfolio of more than 400 locations and 3.5 million square feet, while leading more than $1 billion in capital investments and the development of over 1 million square feet of new clinical space.
Responsibilities included systemwide real estate strategy, ambulatory development, capital planning, project governance, construction oversight, lease administration, and operational integration. Led multidisciplinary teams and worked closely with executive leadership, physicians, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver complex healthcare projects aligned with organizational growth and patient-care objectives.
Children's National Medical Center
Provided project and program leadership for complex pediatric healthcare facilities within one of the nation’s leading children’s health systems. Supported the planning, design, construction, and delivery of specialized clinical environments while coordinating the needs of physicians, hospital leadership, facilities teams, designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities included project planning, design and construction coordination, budget and schedule management, quality oversight, regulatory and life-safety considerations, and operational integration—helping ensure projects supported both exceptional pediatric care and long-term organizational objectives.
